WOW, well that was close!
LCQ is a tournament that will allow 1 person into the US masters in each event.
The US Masters invite top 6 in the world and because they use last years world ranking list where I was nr. 7 then I had to qualify for the tournament with lots of other talented skiers.

I have to say I was close and I equaled the furthest I have been since my injury at tournament which is 52.9 meters/ 172f. Nancy Chardin sneaked in front of me with 10 cm, - 53 meters and qualified. She too skied great and it was a great jump - congrats Nancy!

Another huge shout out and congratulations goes out to Jacinta Caroll who just broke the World Record.. Great effort girl..!!

So all in all still another big jump score for me and I'm happy with how my practice is progressing.

Have fun out there and happy skiing...:-)

Well that was so worth the 2 day flight!. I came 4'th at the World cup in Mandurah Australia - only 10cm behind the podium. It was very challenging conditions out there with a lot of current since we were skiing on the river and in lots of wind. Since they are only inviting top 8 in the World I'm very happy with the result. Also I got to hang out with my Maid of honor, Karen who lives in Melbourne but flew to Perth to see me - which was let just say..a lot of fun and laughter together with our other great Mates Ryan and Sarah. Wish Australia was closer!
So happy to be back in the top of the world! It hasn't been easy, but hard work pays off.

Going to OZ!!! Excited to be off to Australia’s World cup in Mandurah… Well actually not to excited about the 2 day flight, but very much about the rest. Hope the weather and river we are skiing on will treat us well. This is the first world cup of the year, they only invite top 8 in the world for women & men. I know two things, it will be fun and ill be giving it my best.!!
