Back in Clermont now and the weather is a little dodgy at the minute.  Been really cold, and, now we are getting big thunderstorms as the warm weather does battle with the cold.  But all is not in vain, had a few sets since we got back, getting back on the skis and slaloming a little bit.  A few more cut sets and I will be ready to hit the ramp.

The new world ranking list is out and I have made it to first on the list.  Very thankful for a great year, and a big thanks to my coach Ray Stokes, Team mates, Mette Jul, Hazelwoods and last but not least my boyfriend Tom Asher.  I also cannot have performed this well without support from my sponsors: Malibu Boats, Team Danmark, Stokes Skis, Hazelwood Ski World, and Cha Cha Cha.

I wish everyone all the best and look forward to seeing you on the water

New Years Eve Run PDF Print E-mail

Pull up your socks and get your big striding running shoes on.  we did exactly that at 10:00am this morning.  Mette Jul, has started a tradition here in Denmark that has been running for the last 15 years.  Each year she maps a course around the area of vallensbaek waterski club.

Anyone can participate, this year were kids, grandparents, moms, dads, dogs.  A great time and a good way to end 2009.  This year 104 participants showed up for the little jaunt around the 2 made courses.  One was 2.7km, the other was 3.4km.  Myself and Tom did pretty good in the sub zero conditons.  we managed to set a nice pace and covered the 2.7km course twice.  You have to do the distance within 40m minutes.

At the end, when everybody is done, we all head into the waterski club house and a raffle is drawn with the numbers used for each person in the race.  I was 11 and June was 9.  we both one a couple bottles of wine and a nice wine caraf also.  So we were very happy..

Thankyou to Mette for a nice morning, we wish everyone a great night and a nice 2010.

Have a good New Year

Christmas is over.. New years around the corner PDF Print E-mail

Christmas is over.. boo hoo.  We had a fantastic time this year.  Lots of food, prezzies, and good times shared between family and friends.

Little Christmas Eve (23rd December), started the festive period off well.  Myself and my boyfriend(tom), had a nice evening meal together.

Christmas eve was fantastic and we really had a good time.    Lots of food eaten, plenty of presents opened and a little bit of drink, drunk.  We had duck and pork as our main meals.  I think Tom ate to much as he struggled to sleep that night.  Must have been the duck fat.  After the food we did our traditional dance round the tree.  A few classic danish songs and then onto opening the presents.  Their were some super gifts.  I got the whole twilight book collection.  Pretty excited about that, as wells as a new top, belt, lots of candy, and other items.  I had lots to open which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Christmas day, we took it easy.  We watched a couple of christmas movies, including Trading Places.  In the evening we joined my sister to watch her boyfriend play in his band.  This went from 11pm to 3am.  A great night though and a great way to finish off the day.

On boxing Day (26th Dec), we headed over to my other sister jeanette for some more family time.  This was a lovely afternoon, eating more great food and playign some games.  We had curried herring, pork roast, pate, frikadelles, and eel.  A whole assortment of food that all tasted good.  Tom got caught up into the fifa 2010 with my younger cousin.  A fun afternoon had by all.

Now we are taking it easy.  Getting psyched up for new years.
