A great tournament at the 3 sisters lake in Wigan. Our team in the Pro Am cam 2ND!! A fantastic achievement. To get the placements you not only had to ski but also Clay pigeon shoot, and go-cart to earn points for your team. I hit 9 out of 12 clays and put up some respectable lap times. We had a great day, my team was Paul McDonald and John Wilkinson.
It was quite a hectic day for me. I had just flown from Korea where the final world cup stop was held, and that same day I had a practice ride and jumped straight into the go-cart. To say I am knackered now after 3 rounds of slalom also would be an understatement, I can't straighten my arms properly.
The eventual winner of the main event, the pro event, was Will Asher with 4 buoys at 10.25m. A very short line and a very tough score to beat.
we are now back at Lincoln, where I shall be preparing myself for the 2010 Ukraine open, I leave next Wednesday for my final big event of the year

I am now at the airport getting ready to fly home. Had a hectic afternoon, jumped in the final and finished second. Caught a bus to the airport and am on my way back to the 3 sisters Wigan pro am ( click on the link at the top for live scores - event starts Wednesday). Tom is picking me up from Birmingham airport, from their we will drive up to Wigan. We will be go carting that night, so look out boys, a girl with no sleep driving a cart. I could be dangerous.

After a hectic start this morning, squeezing in two rounds of jump before the finals, I managed to come second place behind Maj Jepson. I am a little disappointed after such a strong finish before I came out here, but Maj proved to have the goods on the day. My hats off to her for a great achievement, roll on Ukraine. Time now to get packed and head back to England, I have a bus to catch and a flight leaving tonight at 11:30pm. Rush rush rush

Still in Korea and not much have happened skiing wise for me yet. We were supposed to have our first round today but because of rain they postponed our first round jumping until tomorrow morning at 7.30. So early wake up call for me. Apart from waiting at the lake I have been eating the korean cuisine, been on the computer and drinking lots of water since its very humid here. Hopefully we will get no rain tomorrow, do some good skiing and finish in time so I can make my flight at 11.55pm... :)

I have successfully navigated my way to Asia the last couple of days. I arrived in my korean hotel tonight at around 8:00pm. All is good. Had a little bite to eat and have settled very nicely into my bed. Looking forward to tomorrow for the practice set before the main event kicks off on Saturday.
